We are both very active in local BDSM groups. I am a former member of the Board of Directors of Capex in Charlotte NC. We often do presentations to Capex or other Lifestlye groups on topics ranging from flogging, caning, needle play and more to D/s Relationships.
I have a particular interest in helping others better understand this Lifestyle. I have a friend in Atlanta that uses the phrase "Each One Teach One". I think that is a good way to approach this thing that we do. Those of us that have long time experience have a responsiblity to the greater community to help foster better understanding. I have often compared this Lifestyle to a continuum where on one end you have those that enjoy occassional slap and tickle in the bedroom and think it is kinky with a smile to those on the other end that truly live this 24/7 and practice very extreme edge play. One is no more right or wrong than the other. What is important is to find a partner that is either at your same level on the continuum or capable of reaching there.
No matter your experience level or interests, there is always room to learn and grow.
